Anna’s passion for personal health and wellness has been ever-present in her life from a very young age.
As soon as she was of the legal age to become certified as a fitness instructor, she made her passion a career and began imparting her knowledge and experience to friends and clients. Growing up a student of vocal performance and ballet, she strives for both aesthetic and functional muscle development that suit your goals and your lifestyle. Her years of College level Rugby and long-distance running further developed the skills necessary for implementing strength and conditioning programs.

Anna’s combined expertise in nutrition, fitness and mental health are the founding components of The Raw Method philosophy.
The Raw Method is designed around the art of healing—a concept which may at first seem opposed to traditional fitness and training methods. The elements of this philosophy are:

Training with Anna begins with a full lifestyle and health assessment. In other words, cutting to the core of what exists at the root of the problems you’re trying to solve. As an Integrative Mental Health Specialist, Anna is sensitive to and understands that exercise and nutrition are not the only obstacles we face in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Behavior Modification and Mindfulness are two focal points in your training. With this in mind, Anna constructs your individualized training program geared towards your needs, your body type and your goals.
- Breaking You Out of Your Comfort Zone
If you do what you always did, you’ll get what you always got. Rebuilding your personal health starts with breaking you out of what you consider comfortable to try new things, gain new skills and build self-confidence.
- Community and Support
Through her work with clients of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes, Anna has set out to build a community of friends and clients who support one another. This community is affectionately self-titled Team Raw.

Anna received her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Vermont with a study emphasis on mental health and human development. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and is trained in the operation of all first-aid, CPR (Adult and Infant) and AED equipment.
